Rules, sources & limits
Green / consider adding: close above its 50-day and 200-day means, 50-day mean above 200-day mean, positive 90-day return, and both the latest ETF net flow and last-five-reported-row sum positive. Red / review trim: close and 50-day mean below the 200-day mean, and negative 90-day return. Positive ETF flows are then shown as conflicting evidence. Yellow / hold or wait: other valid price states, including threshold equality, disagreement or missing ETF confirmation. Gray: missing, invalid or expired core price data. Missing data is never zero.
Version gulfstream-decision-guide-0.1. These are transparent experimental heuristics, not optimized or validated predictions. This guide does not forecast tops, bottoms, prices or success probabilities. It contains no portfolio information and makes no personalized recommendation or automatic trade. The separate seven-pillar composite remains unavailable. The earlier price-heat trading interpretation did not beat its simple retrospective benchmarks and is not used as another vote here.
Two input groups: daily price history and reported US spot ETF demand. Trend and momentum share the same price source and count once. Sentiment, halving dates, CME open interest, network activity and mining scenarios are context, not additional directional votes. On-chain valuation, global leverage, macro liquidity and miner economics are not covered by this guide.

Latest aggregate and five reported rows normalized and summed; figures may be revised. ETF data expires at the earlier of one day after retrieval or four days after its session marker. Supply and the halving date are arithmetic from block height. Loading network data asks Gulfstream’s server for the current mempool.space tip; your browser does not contact mempool.space.
The halving date is an estimate at 10-minute blocks; actual timing varies with hashrate. Lost coins are not deducted from mined supply.

How we separate protocol facts from price-cycle claims
Halving milestones must cite a verified Bitcoin block and the subsidy-interval rule. A block timestamp is part of the historical block record, not a guaranteed civil-clock observation. Blocks not yet mined have no fixed calendar date. The verified interval is 210,000 blocks; the next target after block 840,000 is 1,050,000. The subsidy changes from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC per block at that target. Transaction fees are separate. The broad year estimate is the last halving’s block timestamp plus 210,000 × 600 seconds. It assumes target spacing from that event and is not updated from live chain progress. The 600-second block-time target is an assumption, not a clock or a guarantee.
Before publishing top/bottom comparisons, specify the exchange or index, currency, daily-close convention, start and end dates, local versus full-window extrema, tie handling and confirmation rule. Report the date it became knowable, avoid look-ahead bias and label the result retrospective. No such price history or rule has been validated here.

Potential, with trade-offs
Bitcoin offers a distinct monetary network and a highly volatile market. Its role depends on the investor’s total portfolio, horizon, liquidity needs and capacity for loss.
Correlation changes
Its relationship with stocks, bonds and gold varies materially across measurement windows and market regimes. Correlation can rise during stress. Diversification is not guaranteed downside protection.
Not every chart is evidence
Correlation comparisons require identified assets, lawfully reusable sources, currencies, return definitions, aligned trading times, sample dates and rolling windows. Comparisons must show their full measurement window and limitations.
Keep the decision human
A sensible allocation weighs several potential return streams and failure modes. This page is general education, not a recommendation for a particular allocation or a promise of returns.
