GSV · Platform in development. This page shares our investment thesis. It is not an investment offering, and GSV is not open to investors.

Important context

Possibility precedes convention

First, an idea.
Then, an industry.

The greatest investment opportunities rarely begin by looking like conventional investments.

They begin as ideas. A reusable rocket. An autonomous vehicle. A humanoid robot. Artificial intelligence capable of reasoning. Software that makes sense of enormous amounts of data. A global sports ecosystem transformed by technology, media and new forms of ownership.

At Gulfstream Ventures, we are interested in the companies and technologies creating possibilities that previously did not exist.

We don’t simply want exposure to the future.
We want to own pieces of the companies building it.

Our investment thesis

The impossible
becomes investable.

Transformative technologies can create entirely new industries. We study where that change is taking place, how a business can capture it, and what ownership is worth.

Our research spans public and private markets. Access, investment structure, valuation and risk matter as much as the idea itself. A remarkable technology is not automatically an attractive investment.

Explore the five frontiers

The research universe

Five investment
frontiers.

Distinct fields. Converging possibilities.
Select a frontier to explore.

01 / Artificial intelligence

Infrastructure for an AI-native economy.

AI may become a foundational technology of the modern economy. Our interests extend beyond applications to the infrastructure that makes intelligence possible.

Compute. Data. Semiconductors. Models. Cloud infrastructure. Cybersecurity. Enterprise software. Autonomous agents. Physical AI.

We seek companies capable of becoming infrastructure for an AI-native economy.

The research question

What becomes indispensable as intelligence becomes abundant?

02 / Robotics & autonomy

Intelligence is leaving the screen.

The next phase of AI will increasingly interact with the physical world. We are researching autonomy in transportation, industrial automation, drones, warehouses, manufacturing, logistics, defense and healthcare.

Autonomous vehicles. Humanoid robots. Sensors. Batteries. Advanced manufacturing.

Tesla describes its Optimus effort as the development of a general-purpose humanoid robot for physical tasks. It is one example of a broader convergence of software, hardware and physical labor. The opportunity is substantial; technical, safety and adoption challenges remain.

The research question

Which systems can move from an impressive demonstration to dependable real-world work?

03 / Space & the new industrial frontier

The world’s economy is expanding beyond the world.

Reusable launch systems are changing the possibilities of commercial space. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 demonstrates the reflight of orbital-class rocket boosters, expanding what businesses can imagine beyond Earth.

Satellite communications. Earth observation. Defense. Launch infrastructure. Space-based computing. Connectivity. Manufacturing.

Our research looks beyond rockets to the services and infrastructure that wider access to orbit could enable. Technical execution, capital intensity and regulation are central to the investment question.

The research question

What new markets become possible when access to orbit changes?

04 / Sports

Sports is becoming an asset class.

Sports sits at the intersection of media, technology, data, entertainment, intellectual property, scarcity, real estate and global fandom. We have spent years studying the entire ecosystem, including franchise ownership and athlete economics.

Sports data. Media rights. Ticketing. Venue technology. Athlete technology. Performance. Sports ownership. Sports-related real estate. Global franchises.

Our research also includes exchanges and prediction-market infrastructure, where regulation and integrity matter. We seek the businesses serving the continued commercialization and globalization of fandom.

The research question

Where does enduring fan attention meet better technology?

05 / Data, software & decision intelligence

Turning complexity into decisions.

As AI proliferates, the ability to organize proprietary data and connect it to decisions may become more valuable. We are interested in the infrastructure upon which increasingly automated organizations operate.

Data platforms. Enterprise software. Decision intelligence. Operational AI. Security and governance.

Palantir’s platforms illustrate how software can connect data, models and operational workflows. We study the companies that make complex information usable, with careful attention to defensibility and implementation.

The research question

Who turns information into a durable operational advantage?

Our experience in the ecosystem

Public ownership.
Precisely described.

Gulfstream’s confirmed sports and entertainment investments include publicly traded shares in the companies below. These are public-stock holdings, not direct ownership of their teams, venues or real estate.

Sphere Entertainment SPHR
Public investment · Immersive entertainment and venue technology
Madison Square Garden Entertainment MSGE
Public investment · Live entertainment and venues
Madison Square Garden Sports MSGS
Public investment · Professional sports

Selected holdings, not a complete portfolio or a performance presentation. Holdings can change and may not be held in every client account. Our experience also includes historical Manhattan commercial-property investment, described separately on Gulfstream Land. These examples do not describe the full scope of our public- and private-market research.

Private markets

Before everyone
knows the name.

Some consequential businesses may remain private through important stages of their development. We evaluate opportunities to access exceptional companies when the business and the terms justify the risk.

Our private-market perspective
  1. An enormous market opportunity
  2. Differentiated technology or intellectual property
  3. Exceptional founders
  4. The potential to create or define a category
  5. A structure with a compelling risk/reward case
  6. Access on acceptable terms

Private investments can be illiquid, difficult to value and subject to substantial or total loss. Access is not assured. Eligibility, due diligence, fees and investment terms vary.

Sports + technology

Where sports
meets the future.

Our work in sports investing led us to a broader realization: the most interesting opportunities aren’t confined to sports.

The same technologies reshaping the economy, from AI and data to robotics and digital infrastructure, are transforming sports as well.

That insight is shaping the development of Gulfstream’s next investment platform: GSV.

What would you own today if you knew which technologies and cultural shifts would define the next twenty years?

Our research spans public and private markets, sports, AI, robotics, autonomy, space, data infrastructure and emerging technologies.

In development

GSV is a strategy/platform in development, not an investment fund currently open to investors. No interests are being offered through this page. Any future offering would require an approved structure, applicable legal/compliance review and separate offering materials.

What we look for

Imagination.
With discipline.

  1. 01

    Enormous markets

Opportunities capable of supporting extraordinary businesses.

  2. 02

    Category creators

The most interesting companies don’t merely take market share. They create markets.

  3. 03

    Scarcity

Distinctive technology, data, intellectual property, networks, brands or assets.

  4. 04

    Exceptional founders

People capable of seeing something before everyone else does, and building toward it.

  5. 05

    Asymmetric outcomes

A credible case for meaningful upside, weighed against execution risk, price, dilution and the possibility of total loss. An investment lens, not a return target.

  6. 06

    Long time horizons

Transformational companies take time. We are willing to be patient without abandoning discipline.

The Gulfstream question

What if
it works?

A rocket that lands itself. A car that navigates on its own. A conversation with artificial intelligence. A robot that can do useful physical work.

The future frequently appears unrealistic until, suddenly, it isn’t. Some ideas become working systems; others remain unproven.

We ask what can go wrong.
We also ask: what happens if this actually works?

Important context

This page presents Gulfstream’s research interests and investment philosophy. It is not an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy a security, personalized advice or a promise of results. Emerging technologies can fail commercially even when the underlying technology works. Investments involve risk, including loss of principal. GSV remains in development; no legal or regulatory approval of an offering is implied.

Company sources & relationship context

Company descriptions were checked against primary sources on October 3, 2026: SpaceX Falcon 9, SpaceX investor updates and June 2026 IPO completion, Tesla AI & Robotics, Palantir platform overview, and Google AI. These four companies are illustrative research names; inclusion does not establish a Gulfstream investment, partnership or endorsement.

Sphere Entertainment (SPHR), Madison Square Garden Entertainment (MSGE) and Madison Square Garden Sports (MSGS) are identified as public-stock investments based on Gulfstream’s confirmation. Business descriptions and public-company status are supported by Sphere’s investor relations, MSG Entertainment’s fiscal 2026 results and MSG Sports’ company overview. Holdings are subject to change and do not represent all investments or all client accounts. Owning company stock is not the same as directly owning a team, venue or property.

MSG Sports announced a planned separation of its Rangers business on September 30, 2026, expected October 26, 2026, subject to remaining conditions. Names and symbols shown here reflect the company’s status at the source-check date, not an assertion that the separation is complete.

Public investment means ownership of publicly traded shares. Private investment means an interest in an unlisted business or vehicle. Indirect exposure means access through a fund or another vehicle rather than direct ownership of the underlying company. No specific private holding or indirect exposure is claimed on this page.
